Birds are freedom, inspired in their forms - colourfulness and soft feathers.
Philipa - atelier share with you to visualise and experience the feeling of lightness in these creatures and feel part of nature and its diversity of shapes and colours through its feeling. Birds are like something that brings us freedom and feeling of free spirit, the possibility to flow freely in the days.
Because of this dreamy moments birds are spiritual inspiration. And drawing them, watching them is a magical time to spirited away from everyday life and go to place, called "nature".Free spirit, the possibility to fly everywhere and to see the world from high.

In Bulgaria, we have traditions with which we shoo away evil from our homes, from the fields, from the barns and from ourselves. This happens in winter and then when men dress up in scary costumes shoo evil spirits not to disturb the residents during the year.
It is this tradition that inspired me to create these works, with which I express my own unique banishment of bad thoughts within us and the events around us.
The collection is made with acrylic on handmade paper.
